The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities and places of work.
Our National Board
The National Emmaus Board in Australia is responsible for the oversight of all Emmaus Ministries in Australia, Including Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis and Face to Face.
Board members come from various walks of life and are all experienced members of various communities from around Australia.
Each year a National Conference is held for all communities in Australia, including special invitations to Fiji and PNG representatives. The conference includes an AGM at which National representatives are elected.

National Lay Director (NLD)
The National Lay Director is responsible for the oversight and administration of all Emmaus ministries and communities in Australia.
Christine Rose
National Spiritual Director (NSD)
The National Spiritual Director is a minister or pastor who is responsible for the oversight of the spiritual health of all Emmaus ministries in Australia.
Peter O'Loghlin
National Secretary
The National Secretary is the secretary for the Board and the National Secretariat, and is the primary point of contact for Emmaus Ministries in Australia.

The National Treasurer maintains all financial records and actions all financial transactions of the Secretariat and the Board.

National Supplies Officer
The National Supplies Officer is responsible for providing access to necessary materials required for running communities and ministry programs in Australia.

National Chrysalis Coordinator
The National Chrysalis Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and administration of all Chrysalis communities and activities in Australia.

National Face to Face Coordinator
The National Face to Face Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all Face to Face activities in Australia.

National Newsletter Editor
The Newsletter editor produces a National Newsletter at least 4 times per year, which is stored on this website and distributed to all Australian Emmaus Communities.
